Adding Tap-to-Run Automation to Chameleon Lamps

Tap-to-Run automations allow you to program several devices to turn on at the same time. You can customize the color and brightness of each lamp. This function works well to create automations for special events, holidays, or everyday use.

NOTE: Transformer must be on at all times for lamp automations to work

1. Download Brilliance Smart from the Apple App Store or Google Play by scanning the QR code. Register for an account if you are a first time user.

2. Open the Brilliance Smart app and tap the Smart button.

3. Select the Tap-to-Run tab and tap the Add button. 

4.  On the Create Scene page, tap Launch Tap-to-Run.

 5. Tap Add in the Task panel to set up a Tap-to- Run automation task. 

 6. Tap Control Single Device to begin an automation.

You can set the automation to turn Chameleon lamps to a specific color. 

Example: Setting the Tap-to Run to turn two Chameleons red and green for the holidays.

7. Select the Chameleon lamp you want to use in the automation. 

8. In the Select Function list, tap ON/OFF to change the action. 

9. Tap ON, and then tap Save at the bottom. 

10. In the Select Function list, tap Brightness. 

11. Adjust the slider on the top for Saturation, then adjust the slider on the bottom for Brightness. Click Save when finished. 

12. In the Select Function list, tap Color.

13. Adjust the slider on the top for Hue, then adjust the middle slider for Lightness, and then adjust the slider on the bottom for Brightness. Click Save when finished. 

14. Tap Next

15. In the Task list, tap the Add button to add another device. 

16. In the Add Task list, tap Control Single Device. 

17. Select the Chameleon lamp you want to use in the automation.

18. In the Select Function list, tap ON/OFF to change the action. 

19. Tap ON, and then tap Save at the bottom. 

20. In the Select Function list, tap Brightness. 

21. Adjust the slider on the top for Saturation, then adjust the slider on the bottom for Brightness. Click Save when finished. 

22. In the Select Function list, tap Color

23. Adjust the slider on the top for Hue, then adjust the middle slider for Lightness, and then adjust the slider on the bottom for Brightness. Click Save when finished. 

24. Tap Next. 

25. Tap Name.

26. Name the automation and Confirm. 

27. Tap Style. 

28. Select a photo from the options. To customize the photo, tap the Add button.

29. From the menu at the bottom of the screen, choose Take a Photo or Select from Album. 

30. Tap Save at the bottom of the screen. 

31. To start the Tap-to-Run automation, tap the Smart button. 

32. Find the Tap-to-Run automation in the menu, and tap the Start button. 

33. Tap OK.
